Ewalt Student Council Organization (ESCO) plays an important role in helping both our school and the surrounding community. They organize food drives to collect donations for those in need, making a positive impact on families who require assistance. The council also hosts a small store full of fun items, where students can purchase goods, and all proceeds go toward supporting various nonprofit organizations. Additionally, the student council gathers money for donations and reaches out to the community to build stronger connections and provide support where it's needed most. Through these activities, the student council teaches students about kindness, giving, and making a difference in the world around them.

The Ewalt Running Club, hosted by Ms. Jaci Kepler, meets every morning before school. Participants set personal goals for distance and time, working toward achieving their milestones. Each day, they can be found running the perimeter of the playground or utilizing the gym on inclement weather days. As they reach their goals, students are awarded charms to represent the distance they have accumulated. Check this page for updated standings and progress from the Running Club.
Splash is a water safety and swim program offered in partnership with the YMCA to help students build confidence in the water while learning essential swimming skills. Through guided instruction and fun activities, participants develop basic water safety knowledge and swimming techniques in a supportive environment. Students in 2nd grade participate in this program.
